Careers

Full-Stack Engineer

Use a modern dev stack to create solutions that benefit patients and advance medical research. Use your knowledge and skills, from CSS to SQL, to build tools that connect the dots between patients and care teams.

What you will do:

  • Think about smart solutions to challenging problems
  • Speak with stakeholders and play a key role in the software development process
  • Code. Not too much. Mostly functions.
  • Test your code
  • Support the broader Visiontree team efforts by providing tools and automation
  • Iterate and respond to feedback

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of standards, web and otherwise, including HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, OpenId Connect, SQL etc.
  • RESTFul API development experience, OpenAPI a plus
  • Data modelling in relational databases
  • Operational experience with RDBMSs, especially Postgres
  • Experience writing and deploying Java/JavaScript in a production environment, server and/or client side
  • FHIR experience and knowledge of hospital systems is a big plus
  • BS in an applicable field, preferably Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years relevant professional experience
  • AWS infra, Linux, CI/CD, Git, Docker experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a lean team environment
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects a plus

Junior Product Manager

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Junior Product Manager to join our growing Product Team at Visiontree. Responsibilities include learning our patient reported outcomes product offering. Also, helping with the full product development process and user testing. The Junior Product Manager will assist Product Managers in managing our projects, backlog, documentation and designing user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with product managers, developers, and business uses to write user stories, requirements for new features, and product plans.
  • Contribute to long-term product line and portfolio road mapping
  • Help design user interfaces
  • Help manage our product backlog
  • User testing and writing user stories/epics
  • Collaborate with our development team, our customers, and our customer success team
  • Able to balance multiple responsibilities at once and take on a variety of roles Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, marketing, business administration or related field
  • 2-3 years experience with interface design, UI/UX design or college equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Lead Front-end Developer

Use a modern front-end dev stack to create solutions that directly impacts the experiences of patients and advances medical research. Use your knowledge, skills and technology you love, founded on CSS to JS, to build tools that connect the dots between patients and care teams.

What you will do:

  • Lead front-end team of experienced front-end developers; promote best practices and tooling
  • Build new and extend existing user experiences to integrate the Visiontree product into the healthcare ecosystem using creativity and ingenuity
  • Collaborate with broader development team on best-practices and continuous improvement
  • Work with Product Team to design solutions and make our roadmap a reality
  • Convert legacy code to Vue.js and Typescript
  • Work on breaking up a monolithic application into smaller components all while prioritizing developer ergonomics and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with a typed language
  • Authoritative experience on component-based architecture
  • Vue.js, React, or ilk product shipping experience
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills
  • Experience with Git workflows, including GitHub flow
  • CLI comfort
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • A history of dependability

Senior Implementations Manager

We are seeking a Senior Implementations Manager with proven results for Visiontree's clinical and research patient-centered outcomes, SaaS products to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact to clients during the project implementation phase
  • Develop deliverables related to project initiation including but not limited to project kick-off material, project management plan, action log and control procedures
  • Monitor project progress, report status to clients and identify and resolve risks that impact project completion
  • Manage project time, initiate action to identify and resolve problems, and ensure project goals are met. Coordinates planning, testing, training and ensures timely deliverables and project success.
  • Adjust resources as necessary to ensure project success and completion. Provide work direction and feedback to all project team members and assist in issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance to team members on administrative and technical problems
  • Lead or participate in client future state workflow analysis
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of staff and management both internally and externally. External stakeholders include physicians, nurses and executives.

Education and/or Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a business analyst or project management role in a complex business and systems environment
  • Experience in Health IT and EHR systems, including Epic is a plus
  • Experience with technical alternatives and basic knowledge of emerging technologies
  • Familiar with PMI project methodology
  • Proven track record leading successful projects
  • Experience in managing a small, project team is a plus

  • College degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility, high adaptability to changes in both business and technical direction and adaptability to meet new challenges
