Yes, VisionTree allows for free-from expression and comes loaded with examples to guide you through a potential decision. The examples shows you a potential list of factors, obstacles, or options that you might include when buying a car, or deciding which college to attend for example. VisionTree allows for you to edit the examples in any way you see fit, providing for a unique experience that is tailored to your personal situation.

How do I start a new decision? |

After logging into the personal profile page, click "Next" to go to the "Start Session" page. At this page you will see a button called "New Decision". Click the button to start working on your new decision.
VisionTree is pre-loaded with examples that you may choose to help guide you through the decision process. Select the example that most closely resembles your own and then modify the example for your own situation.

Will I get a Decision Results table for any decision I type in? |

Yes, no matter what information is typed into VisionTree, upon completion of steps 1-5, you will receive a decision results table for the information you put in. VisionTree processes the information driving your decision and displays the results in an easy to read table. The table lays out the best option based on the factors and ratings that you yourself enter into the program.

Can I add factors/obstacles whenever I want to? |

Yes! One of the many great features of VisionTree is the ability to navigate through the decision process by simply clicking the "back" and "next" buttons, or by using the status bar at the bottom of the screen. Once at the desired screen, you can add, edit or delete any information. The program allows for real-time editing of the entries in every step of the decision process.
For example: If you want to review your Influencing factors, simply click the icon entitled "Influencing Factors" and the program will jump to that spot.

How do I delete something I entered in? |

To delete any data you entered in, select the data by clicking the text box that displays the information you entered in. The data will then be highlighted, and you can delete it by using the "delete" or "backspace" key on your keyboard. You can also use the right click on your mouse and select "delete" as well.

Can I stop my session and come back to it later? |

Yes, to save your session that is in progress, hit the "Save/Exit" button and when prompted to save hit "Yes", then type in a name of your session so that later, you can load it up at the Personal Profile page.

How do I load previous sessions? |

To load previous sessions, click on the pull down menu at the bottom of the personal profile page or hit the "Load File" icon. You will then need to locate your saved session and hit the "Open" button to load it. VisionTree will automatically place you at the last step you have completed so you can continue your work.
