Below is a sample of testimonials from VTOC users:
"Clinical research typically has its greatest challenges in collecting patient-completed information, since it is usually done through a paper or phone survey. VTOC offers us the ability to move this process to an electronic format through a secure web-portal to collect data in a faster and more compliant manner.
The platform also allows us to deliver relevant information to the patient including reminders, education material and study information more effectively in order to manage their treatment. VTOC is a system whose time has come."
Benjamin Movsas, M.D., Chair of Radiation Oncology,
Detroit's Henry Ford Hospital and Principal Investigator of an RTOG pilot study using the VTOC system.
"In this present age where a spectrum of clinical approaches are presented to a patient (curative, potentially curative, palliative, invasive, minimally and non-invasive), as well as easy access to a variety of information resources primarily via the internet, weighing the options and making the best decision for their own personal situation can often times be challenging and difficult.
This new application and the data collected will undoubtedly play an innovative and leading role in taking traditional patient consent to a level of truly informed consent; and we are excited to be offering it to the patients at UCLA."
Antonio De Salles, M.D., Ph.D.
Professor and Head of Stereotactic Surgery, and Co-Director of the Radiosurgery Program
UCLA School of Medicine/UCLA Medical Center

Having implemented VisionTree solutions at over 200 sites, our team has learned to never underestimate the readiness and willingness of the patient and his caregivers to embrace web-based
communication, nor the openness of physicians and staff to embrace a time-saving new technology. By eliminating the use of paper and allowing patients to input data directly into a secure,
electronic and easily accessible format, VTOC has been proven to improve both the quality of patient care and the efficiency of staff workflow.
With the challenges of data connectivity and interoperability, VTOC delivers a modular, web-based application for a completely paperless workflow and
patient management from registration to long-term follow-up in a secure, manageable and smart environment.
VTOC begins by replacing your clipboard to collect patient registration and health history information. Through VTOC eRegister™, patients can
self-register and check-in prior to their visit, as well as process their eligibility and make payments online. VTOC's Information Delivery Engine™
pushes interactive forms, reminders and education material based on templates & triggers, as well as sending alerts and notifications back to the medical
team for immediate and auditable actions.
If you have a Practice Management or EMR system, VTOC Data Connect™ provides a bi-directional data interchange to pull ADT information to
auto-generate patient accounts and push information for document & database store. VTOC also delivers administrative quality metrics including PQRS, MOC
and outcomes data with custom filters by patient/department demographics and by ICD-9/CPT codes. VTOC Mobile™ provides a secure, lite version for
physicians to access patients basic health information and medications, as well delivering ePrescribing.

Implementation and Integration
Since VTOC is a web-based application, you can be up and running in a matter of days, not weeks. You will be assigned a project manager who will facilitate
the collection of forms, documents, education material, etc. and help you build templates for the different needs of your practice.
Everything in VTOC is real-time which means as your patients complete forms, accept appointments, request refills, etc., you and your staff will be
notified through custom alerts you set in VTOC. This flexibility, coupled with a template-based setup allows for easy implementation and an immediate ROI
impact on your practice by reducing paperwork, staff time, and cancelled appointments.
VTOC is based on a system of actors and roles that allows individuals to be granted permission to specific actions or portions of the site. For example,
a scheduler would be able to view calendar appointments, modify the schedule, and send out global reminders or notifications to patients.
