VisionTree™ Software launches Professional Edition; Saint Luke's Hospital (Kansas City, Missouri) implements solution for strategic planning
2003 Malcolm Baldrige Award winner utilized application to outline goals for 2005; leadership retreat highest rated leadership event in organization's history
SAN DIEGO — September 20, 2004 — VisionTree™ Software (www.visiontree.com), makers of relevant decision making software solutions for individuals and organizations, today announced the launch of VisionTree Professional Edition to help organizations streamline and improve their decision making and problem-solving processes.
 Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO implemented the solution at its recent two-day annual leadership strategic planning retreat to help generate more than 50 action plans, resulting in the organization's highest rated leadership event in its history.
The 2003 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award® winner for health care offers many special programs and services through a network of physicians representing 57 medical specialties in its 629-bed tertiary care facility. Saint Luke's implementation of a balanced scorecard based on the Kaplan and Norton approach illustrates its determination to align its operations at all levels. Similarly, the hospital's integration of the VisionTree Professional application stems from its continued desire to improve its business processes and service quality from the perspectives of Finance, People, Clinical & Administration, Customer Satisfaction and Growth & Development.
