Crystal Interactive and VisionTree® Announce European Partnership
- Crystal Interactive launches mobile audience engagement -
SAN DIEGO — April 11, 2011 — Audience engagement specialist Crystal Interactive has entered into a partnership with VisionTree Software, a leader in web-based, mobile data collection and meetings solutions, to bring to Europe, a new form of audience response system for conference and meetings delegates.
Crystal Mobile is powered by the VisionTree Mobile™ technology platform, specifically designed for the European market, works on any web-enabled device (Smartphone, PDA, iPad or laptop) to enable delegates to submit questions for speakers, participate in multiple-choice voting, and complete surveys and evaluations at any time during the event.
The VisionTree Mobile™ technology has been used by more than 500,000 conference users around the world for over seven years with leading fortune 500 companies and medical societies as the leading browser-based system for audience response and data collection, using smartphones, iPads, iTouches and PDAs delivered in a local, web-based or hybrid technology environment.
Hailed as the next generation of hand-held audience response systems, Crystal Mobile not only allows delegates to go beyond the standard multiple choice yes/no or a,b,c,d response - they can input using free-text, sliding scales or check boxes - it also enables them to see the questions or response options displayed on the device's screen.
The system also allows additional conference information to be accessed via the mobile device in a paperless format.

Delegates can either use their own smartphones or PDA devices supplied by Crystal Interactive. Crystal provide the on-site Wi-Fi network, ensuring fast and reliable connectivity, so are not reliant on mobile phone signal or venue Wi-Fi. There are no apps to download, delegates simply connect using their mobile browser - simple.
